Infant Curriculum

Our focus here at Excel Early Childhood Learning Center in the infant room is on individual and personal care needs of the child. Materials with in the classroom was carefully chosen to provide stimulation of the sense, manipulation and natural learning experiences. 

Curriculum are focus on emphasizing  within the infant room includes:

  • Language Development-communication, singing, listening to books, etc.. 
  • Practical Life - developing independence, motor skills  such as grasping , rolling over, squeezing, etc..

The infant room curriculum is a guided by the GELDS (Georgia Early Learning and  Development Standards) Provided by BFTS.


Children in the Infant room will go outside twice a day. Once in the morning for 45 minutes and again in the afternoon for 45 minutes as long as the weather allows us to.

Pre-Primary Class

Our focus in the pre-primary  room is on the independence of the child.


The Montessori philosophy employs four  broad curriculum areas which includes: practical life, sensorial, mathematic, and language. It is  also  encompasses wide range  of other cognitive , cultural  discipline .

  • Practical Life- developing independence
  • Sensorial- five senses 
  • Mathematics- counting, sorting, etc..
  • Language Development- storytelling , Vocabulary, etc..
  • Cultural areas- geography , music, etc..

Children in this classroom goes outside twice a day. 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon.

If the weather does not allow outside time they will go to  the gym instead.

Primary Class

Our primary classroom plays a big part in the classroom routines, environment and work time. This gives our children a chance to work at their own pace and teaches discipline to them as well. 


In  the Montessori philosophy employs four board curriculum areas which include: 

  • Practical Life- personal care, cooking, etc..
  • Sensorial- five senses
  • Mathematics- addition, subtraction, fractions, etc..
  • Language Development- writing, phonics , reading ,etc..
  • Cultural Areas- history, art, music , etc..

Children in this classroom will go outside twice a day for 45 minutes in the morning and afternoon. 

If the weather does not allow outside time  then they will go to gym instead.

Virtual Learning Class

With local elementary schools and districts choosing to continue distance learning Excel Early Childhood Learning Center is here  to help provide a safe, fun and supervised environment. Our full day program with a managed classroom environment, will provide the support your child needs to stay connected with his/her teachers and engaged with their daily assignments, peace of mind for you and success for your child. 


  • Enrolling for Kindergarten -5th grade 
  • Engaged teachers that are certified through the school system to over see the classroom. 
  • offer extended day  from 2:30-6:30pm 
  • WIFI access
  • Extended day activities 


Sample Schedule 

7:30-8:00 am- Arrival

8:00 am-2:30 pm- Student utilize their devices to log in their class assignments, complete homework. Includes a complete lunch and recess break 

2:30-6:30 pm- Extended day activities, outside time and much more fun
